Does the faculty take into consideration student feedback and opinions?
A. Students are our main stakeholders. Quality assurance of education depends on facts as well as on gathering perceptions from all stakeholders, such as students, faculty members, graduates and companies. Therefore, integrating students’ opinions is a must. Questionnaires and focus group discussions are among the tools used to collect students’ opinions. However, students opinions alone are not valid. Faculty members opinions are essential too. After careful analysis of the data collected from all stakeholders, the results are integrated in the faculty reform plan to improve the curricula, course syllabus, exams and resources. In addition, an external reviewer is also needed to appraise the performance of our curricula, syllabi, exams and educational resources. Q. Does the educational system (curricula, exams) at the faculty qualify the students for their future careers? A. Yes. In every country in the world, students and graduates should get tailored training in order to be qualified
