Does the fact that PlanGraphics has acquired the rights to Xmarc technology mean that PlanGraphics will no longer maintain its traditional stance of independence toward GIS software vendors?
Having access to a set of integration tools does not make PlanGraphics any less independent than our use of Oracle Forms or Oracle Spatial. PlanGraphics does not intend to compete in the GIS software market. PlanGraphics will use the Xmarc products as integration tools to develop solutions for clients’ multi-platform data and applications.
