Does the engine run hotter?

0

No. Since more power is being produced, the engine does not have to work as hard, so will not run hotter. Combustion is acclerated, so there is no longer the same exposure to high temperatures to allow cylinder head temperatures to rise. Engine temperature is constantly monitored to shut the gas off in the event of an engine overheat. Exhaust gas temperatures may rise under some conditions, but DieselGas Sequential II closely, and constantly, monitors this. For more information, see the Technical page.

No. Since more power is being produced the engine does not have to work as hard so it will not run hotter. Exhaust gas temperatures are also cooler since there is no longer excess fuel being burnt in the exhaust system.
