Does the e-log require maintenance?
Yes, everything requires maintenance! The question should be asked, what kind of maintenance is required? Basically, the e-log requires the least amount of maintenance of any log siding or full log system on the market. Since the e-log is built on a very stable foundation, and with the real culprit of solid wood being internal moisture (of which there is none in the e-log) the maintenance of the e-log is basically limited to keeping it clean and keeping it stained. With regular log washing and staining, the e-log will be a very long lasting and stable system.
