Does the drug chantix cause hair loss?
I am trying to find the to the same question. In the last 2 months, I have been under a great deal of stress. When I saw my hair getting thinner and thinner, I was sure it was due to stress. However, for the last 3 weeks, I have not been under much stress and got a clean bill of health from my doctor. Just this morning I realized that the major thinning of my hair started about 3 weeks ago when I started taking Chantix. I take other medication so perhaps Chantix is not compatible. I did read on the internet that if hair loss is caused by medication that generally it grows back. I am going to stop taking Chantix immediately and see what happens.
