Does the draft Notice of Intent to Comply (NIC) need to be submitted to DEQ?
Yes. As the draft NIC must be made available to the public, DEQ requests that the draft NIC be put in the parish library and submitted to DEQ. The draft NIC will be linked on the Public Participation Group’s website and scanned into DEQ’s electronic document management system. The draft NIC must be submitted to DEQ’s Public Participation Group at least three business days prior to the notice being published.
