RAM has nothing to do with download speed. It depends what speed you get from your service provider. But there are more things that can influence your download speed I have an internet connection of 10MB and my download speed is about 1.25MB p/s. However, that speed is hardly ever reached. Most of the time it is between 850kb and 1150kbps. Depending on the download site. Download.com is a very popular download site and when I download a program from there my download speed is nver higher than 450kbps. So when I have a large file to downlaod, I google that program so I can download it from another site.
