The DMF system does not provide standard x-ray images. Instead, it provides a digital movie that can be reproduced in a variety of formats, typically on high-resolution DVD or in CD format. The study is actually composed of individual pictures taken at very rapid speed and individual frames of particular interest can be digitally captured and printed separately.
