Does the district have plans to go back to the original proposal to relocate Dreher?
No. The Administration’s original recommendation was that Dreher be relocated because of the constraints of the existing site. However, after hearing from the Dreher community through a series of meetings, it was clear that the community wanted Dreher to remain at its current site. Based upon that input, the superintendent changed the original recommendation, and the school board voted in favor of the plan to keep Dreher at its current site. Neither the Administration nor the Board of School Commissioners have any intent to relocate Dreher.
