Does the Dietetics Program at the University of Maryland offer any courses at night, on the weekends, or by independent study?
The University of Maryland Dietetics Program does not offer any courses at night, on the weekends, or by independent study. The University of Maryland’s Science in the Evening Program does allow post-baccalaureate students to take selected science classes in the evening. It is also possible to complete the majority of the courses for the first two years of the Dietetics Program at a community college where courses are offered at more flexible times. However, the second two years of the program will have to be completed at the University of Maryland. If you are unable to attend the University of Maryland during the daytime hours you may want to consider a distance education program. These programs are listed at the bottom of the overall program list on the American Dietetic Association website.
