Does the Dept of Homeland Security have law enforcement agents?
As a CBP Officer I laugh at that every time. DHS is a blanket over several agencies. We identify with our agency and fall under DHS. We never say DHS and leave it at that, we will anounce as the agency we work for because all of the agencies have different missions and different powers. So if someone ever tells you Homeland Security ask them what agency they work for.
