The Department provides an adolescent outreach program; a youth mentoring program; a youth employment/internship program; summer employment opportunities in partnership with the Department of Conservation and Recreation; an independent living and support program and a discharge support program. • DCF provides educational and vocational support services that include: a state college tuition waiver program; a foster child grant program; an educational and training voucher program. • DCF also provides youth development services and housing support.
