Does the Dell Vostro A860 play region 1 dvds?
I am sure it depends on the country is set for, and what country you buy it from, plus I think you can change the region 3 to 5 times, there is also some small applications such as regionfree (I think it is called that) this applications allow you to play all region DVD on your PC/Laptop while the application is running, you normally only need to worry about region with actual TV DVD players, and even for them now there is region free (region 0) DVD players, an other way for TV DVD players to play all regions is to have the firmware changed and so on, but at least you should understand that you dont need to worry, just get the laptop that you are happy with and forget the DVD regions
