Does the Delegation of the European Commission issue passports?
The Delegation of the European Commission does not issue passports nor visas. All passports are issued by the embassy or consulate of the individual European Union Member States. Since 1985 passports issued by European Union Member States have been of a standard format and burgundy coloured. There is no such thing as an “EU Passport”. It is still a British or French or German etc passport. For more information on the issuance of passports, contact the Diplomatic Missions of your own country of origin.
