Does the data model use acronyms or abbreviations?
The data model follows the Federal XML Developer’s Guidelines, ebXML, ISO 11179, and best practices. Abbreviations and acronyms are highly discouraged within data element names, except when commonly understood, rarely confused, widely accepted, agreed upon, and documented. Authorized abbreviations are listed and defined in the glossary of the documentation.
