Does the Cycling Proficiency Test still exist?
Local Councils run cycling proficiency tests with assistance from Cheshire Police. Councils organise tests on a group basis through schools and youth groups – they will not teach cycling proficiency to children under 10 years of age. If you wish to organise testing, you should first contact your child’s school or youth group. You can get further advice from Local Council Road Safety Officers.
