Does the current sensor problem with Landsat 7 affect LANDFIRE mapping?

0

As a member of the multi-agency Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics (MRLC) Consortium, LANDFIRE works with other agencies and programs to acquire and process Landsat imagery. All Landsat image data used in the mapping of vegetation and fuel relied on circa 2001 imagery. The current Landsat scan line corrector problem occurred in late 2003, after acquisition of all necessary imagery.
