Does the County Parks give Rain Checks?
A. Park visitors unable to keep a reservation due to an emergency are eligible for a rain check. Rain checks are also available for extraordinary weather conditions such as severe storms or disaster conditions only. Proof must be supplied to verify the emergency. The rain check will be valid for four months from date issued. The rain check is nontransferable and is not valid in leased parks. Application for the rain check is through the Parks Reservation Center (805) 654-3951.
