A. No. The tax lien holder is responsible for the foreclosure process. The foreclosure process can not begin until after six months from the date of the sale. Four months from date of tax sale, the purchaser may add any expenses to which he/she is entitled under Section 14-843 of the Tax-Property Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland to the redemption amount.
