Yes. There are many services that the County Government does provide for all citizens of the county. To name a few, the list includes the court system and related services, jail and detention services, public safety services to some municipalities, significant public works services, some code enforcement services, a considerable amount of recreation activities, library services, tax assessment and collection for all municipalities and the Board of Education, and others.
