Does the country guarantee individual political rights and civil liberties?
Faith in justice and an impartial judiciary is returning to Ukrainian citizens. The government is doing everything to make sure that those who have committed crimes under the cover of the previous government are brought to justice. It seems that Ukraine is becoming an important participant in the world democratic process. Ukraine is asserting itself as the leader in its region. • Does the country allow individual ownership of property and thus guaranteeing private property rights? Since Ukraine has reached the level of development sufficient to be treated as a market economy country, there is sufficient legal environment to encourage foreign investors to form companies and participate in privatization of state-owned property. There is now no state control or major ownership rights over Ukrainian companies.
