The council does not currently offer assistance towards the cost of installing renewable technology. However, there are grants availble nationally as part of the Low Carbon Buildings Programme. For more details visit the website or speak to the Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre on 0800 512 012 for the most up to date information. Please note that the installation of renewable technology is only recommended when a home is properly insulated.
