Does the contract with Microsoft for Live@edu include Exchange Labs (aka Outlook Live), or just Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail?
UVa’s original contract with Microsoft was for Microsoft Live Hotmail, as Exchange Labs (which Microsoft has since rebranded as “Outlook Live”) was not in production when the contract was signed. ITC will move students with UVa Microsoft Windows Live@edu accounts to the new “Outlook Live” platform sometime in 2011. The go-live date for this service has not yet been set, so please check back later for updates as they become available.
