Make sure she takes the pill at the same time daily, within an hour. That makes the pill the most effective and should give you the least worry. Pre-ejaculate itself does not contain sperm; however, if you recently ejaculated and had not urinated before having sex, the pre-ejaculate could pick up sperm left over in the urethra. If you urinated before sex and she takes the pill at the same time every day, you have very, very little to worry about. If she misses her next withdrawal bleed (“period” on the pill), take a test to put your mind at ease. In all likelihood, you are fine. Relax and continue being careful as you are.
