Yes. The City of Evanston offers both the 15-Hour Food Service Sanitation Manager Initial Certification Course and 5-Hour Refresher course. Both are taught by State of Illinois Certified Instructors. Learn more. In addition to these regularly schedule training sessions, inspectors will often educate employees and managers during their inspections. Our inspectors encourage foodservice managers to ask questions and request in-services on food protection topics.
