Branson is not financially obligated to the airport in the way most municipal airports would be. The city has signed a 30-year “pay-for-performance” agreement with the airport. Taney County officials also have no financial obligation to the airport but agreed to accept ownership of the property and provide a long-term lease to Branson Airport LLC.
