Does the City of Barberton have assistance for sidewalk replacement?
Yes. Since 2005, the City of Barberton has received a grant from the Barberton Community Foundation in the amount of $50,000 for our Sidewalk Program. The City will also be investing an additional $50,000 to assist property owners of one- and two-family dwellings in the replacement of defective sidewalk. The property owners will be assessed 60% and the City will pay the remaining 40% of the cost. Applications to participate in the program may be obtained at the City of Barberton Engineering Department, 576 W Park Ave, Barberton OH 44203.
