The length of life of the cell will vary depending on water conditions, pool usage, and operating time of the Chlorine Generator. The Intex Chlorine Generators are designed with a self-cleaning cycle to maximize the life of the electrolytic cell. Routine maintenance (as described in the Owner’s Manual) will further lengthen the life of the electrolytic cell.
