Does the chicken egg develop inside or outside the hens body?
The embryo in the chicken’s egg develops both inside and outside of the hen. The little chicks are not 100% developed when the egg is expelled. The development of the embryo continues and this is why the mother must sit upon the eggs once they are outside. The eggs you get from the supermarket are not fertillized. They will not hatch.
