The CAB provides advice to the Change Manager regarding the change request. The CAB evaluates the impact and risk of pending changes to IT Services and the production IT Infrastructure. The Change Manager is the chairperson of the CAB and evaluates the Change Request based on advice from the CAB members. When there is non-concurrence, the Change Manager will manage the escalation process.
