Does the center assign a patient advocate to bulimia patients?
Yes – Not formally an “advocate,” for each patient but we involve recovered peers in the program as well as have a case manager who acts as patient advocate when this is needed. We also have a peer who is a certified life coach for patients and provides individual and group life coaching to assist with transition to community living.
