YES. The cat ramp further secures the Slide & Toss to the Litter Maid unit. The Slide & Toss may be used without the cat ramp. However, if used without the cat ramp, additional stabilization of the tray may be necessary, such as a heavy object in front of the tray to keep it from sliding out. You may also take a length of elastic tape and attach Velcro fasteners to the end as well as the LitterMaid unit.
