Does the Candlelight Vigil honor only current year survivors, or are ALL survivors invited to attend?

0

The Candlelight Vigil specifically honors those officers whose names are being added to the Memorial Walls in 2007. This includes the 181 officers who died in the line of duty in 2007, and 177 historical officers. The focus is on these officers; first-year survivors are offered special seating in front of the stage and participate in seminars sponsored by Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS). In spite of the attention paid to first year survivors, the Candlelight Vigil honors all fallen officers; as a result, any and all survivors are invited to attend this, and all other, National Police Week events and activities.
