Does the Canadian Constitution continue to apply to Tsawwassen First Nation?
Yes. The Final Agreement represents a reconciliation between the governments of Canada, British Columbia and Tsawwassen First Nation. The rights provided in the Final Agreement will be exercised within the framework of the Constitution, and once ratified, will be protected under the Constitution, and all parties will have a clear understanding of their rights, ongoing relationship, and obligations to each other=s government.
