Does the campus assess extra fees for network connections in residence hall rooms or for offcampus access?

Baylor University provides a Resnet connection (100MB per second to each network jack), which is a part of the campus network, to each student living in a Residence Hall at no additional charge. For more information click here. Baylor University does not provide Internet access to students living off campus. Students who choose to live off-campus have the freedom to choose whomever they wish to provide them with network (Internet) access. There are companies that provide both high-speed cable Internet or DSL connections in the area. Some apartment complexes chose to include high-speed Internet connections in each apartment.
