It may. See FAR clause 25.100 Scope of subpart. This subpart implements the Buy American Act (41 U.S.C. 10a – 10d) and Executive Order 10582, December 17, 1954. It only applies to supplies acquired for use in the United States that exceeds the micro-purchase threshold; thus, if supplies are acquired for use in the United States that DOES NOT exceed the micro-purchase threshold the Buy American Act DOES NOT apply.
