Does the budget outlined in the RFP include advertising costs?
Section 2.04(b)1 of the RFP lists allowable advertising expenses. It prohibits the use of project funds for advertising costs for anything other than the recruitment of staff, procurement of scare items or disposal of scrap or surplus items. • Who will be responsible for the preliminary research needed to construct a campaign plan? No one will be responsible for preliminary research since a media or campaign plan is not part of this RFP procurement process. • Would it be legal for Promotores to enter private industries (e.g., factories, warehouses, etc.) to reach the working class that cannot be reached in their homes? While we do not offer legal advise, we strongly suggest that programs seek the approval of owners/managers before entering any business to reach its employees. • May we receive a list of attendees? The list of proposers’ conference attendees follows these questions and answers. • Will a list of today’s attendees be published along with the list of questions? (The idea be
