Does the BTML condone users who wish to trade in bootleg or pirate recordings of Bjrk music?

No. On the other hand, the BTML isnt here to restrict anyone. Many laws exist internationally, and locally to deal with such kinds of activities. If you infringe those laws it is a risk you are taking, and not a risk that the BTML at all recommends or condones. I personally would never trade in Bjrks commercially available work, since it takes money directly away from Bjrk pocketbook and from her business associates. On the other hand if I can acquire something that isnt commercially available, like an out of print vinyl Bjrk record or single, that is a different matter completely. (In my opinion) As for bootlegs and pirate kinds of recordings, so long as the material hasnt been generally or commercially released, and doesnt take money away from Bjrks sales, and the people associated with Bjrk, -then- I would have to weigh the overall risks involved with such a trade. Please try to always respect the wishes of those you trade with on the BTML regarding the material they trade with you.
