The BScPhm degree curriculum is not a co-op program. The BScPhm program includes exposure to, and immersion in, various practice settings, as important elements throughout the curriculum. At the end of Year 1 (EPPE1), there will be a one month practice experience to occur between May and August, followed by another 1 month practice experience at the end of Year 2 (EPPE2). Following Year 3, a series of Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations will be scheduled in a diverse range of practice areas, to enable students to translate and apply their knowledge, skills and professional values in the practice environment. Students will thus demonstrate required competencies for graduation and entry to practice. Many rotation sites will be in Ontario and some rotations may be located in other parts of Canada and/or internationally.
