Does the BS Biology in the University of the Philippines accept transferee from other colleges?
UP does accept transferees from other colleges and universities if you can prove that the school you are coming from is as good if not better than UP. That would mean you would have to take a validation exam. It would also mean that most colleges and universities in the country won’t qualify at all. I did have transferee classmates during my stay there and they all came from very wealthy families, the types that live in White Plains and Forbes. It also followed that they have enough clout and arrogance to bully their way into the UP system. All of them were highly intelligent, giving them a deadly combination of arsenal – brains and wealth. I wouldn’t mind having wealth alone. Too bad I was given just the other.
