actually the queen has absolute power in not only britain but the entire british commonwealth which still makes up about one-fourth of the world but she uses very little of it it is a constitutional monarchy which basically means the queen is given more power than you could probably immagine but prefers to just do parades and stuff she does however keep a strong hand in british politics having weekly meetings with her ministers and privy council
