Does the Borough require a Certificate of Occupancy upon resale of a property and what other inspections are required?
The Borough does not require a C.O. upon the resale of properties (required for new construction only.) We do require an inspection by the Fire Official of residential properties prior to new tenancy or transfer of ownership, as well as inspections of commercial properties for compliance with local and State laws.
