Does the Borough offer fire and/or ambulance training?
Yes. We schedule our own firefighter classes (Basic, Advanced, Firefighter I, etc.) and teach them internally. We do not have a pay schedule, so we do not train people that are not joining our services. For any external, non-borough sponsored classes (EMT I, II, III, etc.) there may be an opportunity, but your local area chief will have to approve your participation, as all fees will be paid through annual service budgets.
