Does the book make fun of Jesus?
Absolutely, yes. But not the real Jesus of Nazareth. The book does make fun of ‘Jesus of Galilee’ who is the imposter Jesus. The Jesus you know in your Bible is mentioned with great respect and honor and is never belittled in any way, means or form. You can be certain of that. If you suddenly do become offended, you must stop reading and remember the Jesus you are reading about is not Jesus of Nazareth. The story is so powerful, you will need to stop often to remind yourself of this reality. This is mentioned in the book so the reader will be prepared to handle emotions properly.
