Does the book have to be completely finished in order to enter it into the contest?

Well, it doesn’t have to be finished in order to send in your partial and entry fee. But it’s in your best interests to have a completed manuscript, just in case it’s good enough to make the finals and we ask to see the whole thing. If you don’t have a finished manuscript to send as a finalist, you forfeit your entry fee and your chance at winning.
