Does the body benefit from the Lords Supper?

In fact, Americans are consumed with better health. How can I get an edge? How can I avoid debilitating illness? How can I live long? Physicians still say that the key to healthy living is both a healthy, balanced diet and regular exercise. Perhaps the church ought to look more closely at this point. Spiritually speaking, what is the Christian’s balanced diet and regular exercise? And what are the benefits? Are the benefits only for the soul, or for the body as well? Spiritually feeding on the Bread of Life, Jesus Christ, through both the Word and the sacraments not only strengthen the soul but the body as well.
