Does the Bible Suppress women and consider them less equal?
This is a misconception of God’s Word! Unfortunately, some have take God’s word in part and used it to create this confusion. God does require an order in the traditional family. When society alters or changes it consequences will take place! The Bible has no prejudice towards women – but instead honors them. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond or free, there is neither male or female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28).” But God has given various attributes to men and woman and they do differ. The Bible says to submit to one another (Ephesians 5:21) but requires wives to submit unto their husbands as men have the responsibility to lead the home. “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands , as unto the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, even as Christ is head of the church: and He is the savior of the body.
