Does the Bible say that homosexuals, blasphemers and people that have sex before marriage will go to Hell?

The common misconception regarding the Bible and Hell is that people go to Hell for this sin, or that sin, or this other sin over here. All have sinned. Sin means that you go to Hell. So, yeah. Anybody that commits the sins you mentioned, or any others, will go to Hell. But so will gossips, liars, and people who don’t go to church. It’s not A SIN that sends somebody to Hell; it’s ALL sin. And salvation cleanses ALL sin. Even Christians, who are forgiven by God, will still sin — it’s human nature. Salvation covers sin and pays the price for it. A Christian should be doing his or her best not to commit sins, but that doesn’t mean that he or she will always succeed. It’s a question of accepting Christ’s gift and trying to live according to His will. Please let me know if you have any further questions on the matter.

Once someone tells me that the Bible says this and the Bible says that…I automatically put on my knee high boots and drag out the shovel.

It might. But this would be one more example of a double standard when it comes to what some bigoted “christians” preach. Out of one side of their mouths, they say that “LGBT people are having sex outside of marriage,” and then out of the other side of their mouth, they campaign against equal marriage rights for LGBT couples. Well folks, sorry, but the only people who can have it both ways are HYPOCRITES. Fortunately, most Christians I know support equal rights for all, including marriage rights, and would never use the Bible to support bigotry and discrimination in this way.
