Does the Bible forbid homosexual acts or even special relationship and bonding (non-sexual) between homosexual persons?
Answer May 31, 2004 Dear Mary, Before I answer your question specifically, I believe we need to get an over-all view of what the Bible says about this subject. I’m often asked about whether or not it is right for people to practice homosexual activities. The Bible is quite clear about what God thinks of this practice. Lev 20:13 NIV “‘If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. Rom 1:20-32 NIV For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine naturehave been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
