Does the bible approve of dating non-Christians?
First of all, the Bible isn’t God.Second of all, the Bible says nothing about dating. Now, anyone with common sense wouldn’t approve of themselves dating a non-Christian.It really messes up your kids, and makes the entire family weak in the faith. So if you find any desire to date a non-Christian, think twice.
People might think that Bible does not approve Christian marrying non-christians because that is what god wanted in the old testaments to keep the christian core strong. But after Jesus came it is 100% opposite [Matthew 9 : 10 – 12] 10. While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and “sinners” came and ate with him and his disciples. 11. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?” 12. On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. What Jesus is saying in this verse is that now the foundation in strong… we should go and convert others to our best abilities so they too can go to heaven. From Christians’ perspective non-believer are the sick ones for they are the one going to heaven. So we should not fear them but rather teach them the truth so that they can have a choice to receive Jesus.
No. The Bible does not approve of Christians dating non-Christians. Let me see if I can explain why a bit. As Christians, we are followers of Christ. We want to pattern our lives around Him–live like Him, love like Him, serve like Him, obey Him. He becomes the focus for our lives, the direction of our lives. Getting to know Him takes time, it is a journey. As we get to know Him, our lives take on newer, deeper meaning, because we get to express His love for the world in a richer way. He knows us better than anyone else in the world–He created us with all of our gifts and talents. So some of us might become God’s song to the world through our writing. Some of us through our art. Or through our teaching. And so on. When we are following Christ, over time, what we do becomes one of God’s unique expressions of love to the world. As Christ-followers, we are to act as Christ’s hands and feet here on Earth–think of the ministry’s of people like Mother Theressa or Martin Luther King. Of cou
